This course is intended for Master Students and particularly interested Bachelor Students with basic knowledge in Theoretical Mechanics, Quantum Mechanics, and Statistical Physics. The aim is to get some insight into the surprising variety of emergent phenomena and collective behavior of complex physical systems by studying simplified models both analytically and by means of computer simulations.
