Liebe Frau Schenk,

wir möchten Semesterübergreifen für die gesamte Fakultät (alle Studiengänge) einen digitalen Gedenkraum einrichten. Anlass ist eine Gedenkfeier und eheramtliches Engagement zur Verlegung von Stolpersteinen und weitere Aktivitäten "das leere Sprechzimmer" mit der Allgemeinmedizin und der Geschichte für Medizin.

Die Dozierenden Lounge der Lehrklinik der Medizinischen Fakultät ist eine Plattform, in der Dozierende aktuelle Kursunterlagen für Lehrklinik-Kurse zur Verfügung stellen können. Gleichzeitig stellt sie eine Kommunikationsschnittstelle zwischen Lehrklinik und den Lehrverantwortlichen der Fachbereiche dar.

Im Rahmen des innovativen Lehrprojekts Longitudinales Curriculum Planetare Gesundheit: Klima.Umwelt.Gesundheit. wird ein longitudinales Mosaik-Curriculums zu den Zusammenhängen zwischen Klima, Umwelt und Gesundheit innerhalb des Humanmedizinstudiums entwickelt, implementiert und evaluiert, welches Modellcharakter für alle medizinischen Fakultäten Deutschlands haben kann.

Um Lehrinhalte im Sinne einer longitudinalen Lehrspirale im gesamten Verlauf des Humanmedizinstudiums abzubilden ist eine Plattform zum Austausch von Literatur und Organisationsressourcen notwendig.

The elective course will be realized in a face-to-face and a digital format, the latter as online sessions on the videoconferencing platform Zoom. Classroom settings and conferences will be performed in 2D with tools such as the online whiteboard Miro, and the interactive En-ROADS simulator will be used to enhance interaction and collaboration. As a novelty, we will be investigating the use of a fully immersive classroom with virtual reality (VR) technology. During a VR session, we talk about the goals of VR scenes in the green city. Taking part, you will gain a deeper understanding of climate change and how it is effected by the complex interplay of different factors that influence global carbon emissions and temperatures. Using the established method of problem-based learning, you will define learning objectives to understand the conditions of climate-change-sensitive illnesses, research patient problems with the aid of suitable sources of information, and finally present the results to peers as well as experts. 

What can you learn from this elective course? 

•  to understand the existing and potential health impacts of climate change 
•  to identify climate-related health issues 
•  to be aware of characteristics that may make certain individuals especially vulnerable to climate change, e.g. heatwaves 
•  to build 3D scene models in a VR session 
•  to explore benefits of (collaborative) learning with digital learning systems
