It should be noted that this course has been designed with students at C1 (European level grading) level English in mind. For those wishing to take part in this course, we recommend a review of English up to this standard before enrolling. For those not at this level who wish to take part, it is highly recommended that supplementary courses be taken
throughout the duration of the course. It should be further noted that this is a course in language use and practice and not in computer sciences or IT technology.

A good grounding in computer vocabulary in one’s own language would be of benefit. This would make it easier to orientate one’s self to the themes raised relative to the subject. The authors have been diligent in researching the terminology, but differences in meaning for certain terms may occur. These matters can be discussed with other students or with the online tutor in the forum.
