Dear mNLP students,
The initial exam schedule at the faculty level placed mNLP and Information Retrieval exams on the same day. We therefore had to move the mNLP exam to the week before. The exam will be held on July 20th at 12 in SE10.
Since our last lecture was planned for July 19th, we will have to modify the plan. We will have two more lectures the content of which is eligible for the exam: L9: Text Generation and NMT (July 5) and L10: Multilingual Sentence Encoders (+ Knowledge Distillation, + Contrastive Learning; July 12). For the initially planned L11, we will just release a "popular science" lecture on ChatGPT, the content of which will not be eligible for the exam.
