"Introduction to German and European Legal history" is an english lecture focusing on legal systems during the (early) Middle Ages and the Modern Era. The lecture will discuss the development of variuos court systems, the formation of legal science in Bologna, Feudalism, the reception of Roman law and legal codes like the Sachsenspiegel up to the Civil Code of Germany (the BGB).
