Characteristics of computer and communication systems, communication principles and data traffic in distributed systems, architecture and structure of computer networks: access method, network access, network structure, performance analysis of computer networks and communication systems, future communications systems and networks

Core Skills:
After completion of the course, the student know basics for communication in distributed systems and the Internet. This includes concepts such as access methods and communication protocols on different network layers.
