The course provides basic knowledge about the theories of Differential Psychology and Personality Psychology and about the approaches to the empirical exploration of individual differences in characteristics of thinking, feeling and behavior. Skills (such as intelligence and creativity) are one focus and temperamental characteristics on the other focus (e.g., big five, extraversion, anxiety, impulsivity). The lecture gives an introduction to the subject area, the theories and the methods. The lecture is in German.
